Aluminum Flange kit to mount hose to inner nose sheet metal.

Kit includes two flanges, mounting hardware, bug screen, and mounting details.

This was used on the small block cars, 427 Comp & S/C cars. The small-block cars did not have vent openings on each side of the nose opening. These were added to the 427 models and were designed for ducting air to the front wheel brakes. The Comp and S/C cars ducted air to the foot boxes thru an opening inside the nose. A flange on the opening adapted to the duct hose. With the advent of the street-cars, the openings were converted to duct air to the foot box vents.

From the earliest days, replica builders have taken the liberty to duct air from the opening to the foot box, choosing to sacrifice accuracy for convenience and maybe a little better airflow. Your decision on which way to build.
