We could have gone cheaper, but prefer not to do that. How much is your build worth and are you going to be happy with a plastic part that breaks the first time you use it? We use an aluminum/plated steel blast gate with stainless steel hardware, specially engineered for the cobra aftermarket. Included in the kit is a period-correct fluted knob on a control cable so your cockpit looks like it should. Stud mount will accommodate up to 1/2″ thick footbox
