Description

A tension rod is required on the windshield center frame when a soft-top is added to a cobra. Enough ‘lift’ pressure is generated when driving to actually pull the windshield frame off the glass. This tension rod and the windshield frame must be anchored to the center of the body to keep everything together.

These tension rods are built to order since there are several different windshields in use. Please provide the distance between the inside of the upper and lower windshield frame (the glass opening), measured at the center of the vehicle.  On check-out, please enter dimension in the order notes.

The rods are stainless steel, made with a forged hook to adapt to the channel on top of the frame, and threaded for adjustment at the bottom. It also includes a mounting bracket that will adapt to our windshield bracket. (NOTE: the windshield/body bracket is extra and not included the tension rod package) with All materials are Stainless Steel, satin finish.
